Instructions
Single use tube applicators, which can be applied vaginally or for external vulvar application. It is recommended to apply the gel once a day. For maintenance it can be applied every 2 to 3 days.
Vaginal applications:
- Twist off the end tab, sit or lie in a comfortable position and gently insert the neck of the applicator into the vagina as far as it will comfortably go.
- Gently squeeze the applicator to release the contents. Remove the tube while still squeezing the applicator.
- It is best to use ATHROPHYL at bedtime. It may be helpful to wear a panty liner as it is common to notice slight leakage. This does not mean the treatment has not worked.
External vulvar application:
- Twist off the end tab, squeeze the applicator until the tube is empty on the affected area. Massage gently.
Discard device after application. Do not reuse gel and device. Do not return unused product to the device.

- Do not use product in conjunction with quaternary ammonium compounds
